I am a huge fan of pre-made 4x4" square trellis netting since it is durable, convenient, readily available and inexpensive. That's why I listed it as one of my favorite gardening products and showed it recently in my posts about the cucumber trellis and the pea trellis. I now recommend however that you stay with a name brand when buying trellis netting. Here is the generic netting that I picked up out of season at a close-out store.
It doesen't exactly have 4" squares does it? I guess the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here. I guess I should stick with the companies that I mentioned in my previous trellis post - Gurney's, Park Seeds or Burpee.
This crazy netting isn't going to matter much for me because it is only on the far end of trellis I put up for Luffa and Jack-Be-Little Pumpkins.
The luffa plants are already wanting to jump on the netting!
The crazy trellis netting is actually pretty funny and I don't think the pumpkin vines will mind all that much.
Keep Growing!
