When I was in first grade, the teacher put something new on the bulletin board for each month. March was lions and lambs. She said March weather either "comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb" or it "comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lion". She was right. This year we got the lamb then lion version.
The beginning of the month showed great promise of spring to come with warm temperatures. This last week of March is supposed to be below freezing every night and highs only in the 40's. Yesterday we even woke up to some snow. I hope it doesn't hurt the flowers that were already in bloom. These look pretty sad:
As for how the snow affected the vegetable garden, that is the topic of this week's Movie Monday, although the video was actually taken yesterday.
Luckily since it is spring, the snow was gone by the time we got back from church. I covered everything again last night to protect the plants from frost.
Forcast for next Monday's weather is high of 63 degrees. That's much better!
