Celebrate Spring with a great new Raised Bed Garden Kit!

I am celebrating Spring this year with a complete re-design of my vegetable garden. I am ordering several of these great no tools required cedar Raised Bed Garden Kits.

This inexpensive Raised Bed Kit is 4x8, has two tier heights and multiple kits can easily connect together (which is what I'm going to do).

I already bought a small 4x4 kit to inspect the quality and design before buying several larger kits.

As far as I'm concerned, all of that spells "Let's give these a try!" When all is installed, I plan to have growing space totaling 4'x32' using these beds - half high and half low. Now I just have to plan what to grow in all that space. I now officially have Spring Fever! Finally Found Time to Clean Out the Garden

We had snow last week, but today was sunny and 45 degrees - warm enough to get out and clean out the vegetable garden!

Since I didn't grow in raised beds this year, the garden got out of control and I never had time to take the trellises down, put away the tomato cages and remove the garden debris to the compost pile. But today I got a second chance and accomplished all of the above!

In the spring, my wife and I plan to till all of this up again and put in a new series of raised beds and maybe even put a fence around them. We are excited about making plans to go back to what always used to work well for us. Tomorrow is the first day of December, but I'm already longing for spring in the garden!
