Holy Cow!

I clicked on the link to the Tomato Hornworm and it is indeed a very cool looking insect. I haven't seen them in my tomato plants yet, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for them.
The book looks very interesting, and I might get myself a copy. Thanks for posting about it.

Another book you might consider is Flies in the Face of Fashion, Mites Make Right, and Other BUGdacious Tales,
by Tom Turpin. It has a lot of "fun facts" about different insects. I think it is great you are teaching your kids about bugs, too.

Sounds like a great read that new book of yours. There is still a lot that I have to learn about the insects in my garden so I'll check out the bookstore and see what they have on bugs in this neck of the woods. ;-)
